After one very tantalizing tweet, Jamie Foxx has made it official: He will indeed light up the screen as the villainous Electro in the 2014 sequel to “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Meanwhile,“Amazing Spider-Man” director Marc Webb tweeted that Dane DeHaan (“Chronicle”) will play the no-doubt just as damaged Harry Osborn in the next Spidey flick.
Andrew Garfield returns as Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Emma Stone is back in blonde as Pete’s estranged love interest Gwen Stacy. Shailene Woodley joins the cast as the ginger jackpot in Pete’s life, Mary Jane Watson.
With this perfect casting, all that we can do now is wait! The Amazing Spider-man 2 will be released sometime in 2014, so hold your breaths!

‘Les Miserables’ actor Eddie Redmayne is after a supero role like fellow Brit actor Andrew Garfield, possibly in new movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ which gets its release in August 2014.
The star told told MTV: ”I love those films when they’re done well. I loved watching Andrew [Garfield] and Emma [Stone] in ‘Spider-Man.’ I loved watching ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. There seems to be an audience now needing satisfaction beyond spectacle.
”From an actor’s point of view, that makes it intriguing. I love going to see those films. I also like to shake it up – I just did a musical. I don’t like sitting in a box.”
The versatile actor has been rumored as having a role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ as Star-Lord in the adaptation of James Gunn’s comic-books, which feature a futuristic team of world-defenders.
The film is in development with ‘The Avengers’ studio Marvel, but Eddie wasn’t giving anything away, saying he just feels glad to be given roles.
The ‘My Week With Marilyn’ star said: ”As an actor, you never believe you’re going to get a job when you start out. You’re lucky to get any form of employment. There’s noise with the internet of things that are true and not true. If I listen to all of it, I’d go slightly insane.”
Well we hope that studio bosses do listen to the buzz, and grant Eddie his super-powered wish!

Andrew Garfield was born in Los Angeles, California on August 20th, 1983. His mother was English and they moved to England when he was three. He began acting in youth theatre productions while he was still in school. At the age of 19, he went to the Central School of Speech and Drama. Though he has appeared in shows like 'Sugar Rush' and 'Doctor Who', his real breakthrough was in the Oscar winning movie The Social Network, where he played the role of Eduardo. He has also played the leading role of Peter Parker in the famous movie The Amazing Spiderman.
