The Amazing Spider-Man star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he was asked by the host to help raise money for the Worldwide Orphan’s Foundation.
As part of the surprise challenge, Garfield was asked to show off his skills in various dance styles, from the Irish jig to the can can.
“You want me to humiliate myself for these kids?” Garfield quipped.
After jokingly complaining about the lack of musical accompaniment, Garfield took to the floor to display his prowess in the robot, Gangnam Style, and Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ dance among others.
Although the original challenge set a time limit of 45 seconds, Garfield continued to dance after he was out of time, eventually raising a total of $10,000 (£6,300) from partner Shutterfly.
Garfield, who is currently dating his co-star Emma Stone, is due to return for the upcomingAmazing Spider-Man sequel.
